For those of you that have questions about who I am. My name is David Lindsey and I was born in Hamlet in 1953. My parents are Dr. Mark Lindsey and Janet James Petris. I am blessed that both of my parents are still with us today. My grandparents were Dr. W. D. and Lillian James. They were the founders of the Hamlet Hospital and Nursing School. I have two brothers, Mark Jr. and Bill. Mark works at RCC and Bill lives in Durham. I married Kimberly Lineberger from Maiden, NC in 1993. I retired in 2003 from 21 years as a Air Traffic Controller with my last 13 years in Charlotte. My wife and I came back to Hamlet after my retirement. We own Vector Shirts at the corner of Hamlet Ave. and Raleigh St. |
