Re: Hamlet Hospital School of Nursing Handbook 1960
No doubt that nursing students at Hamlet were well trained.I remember seeing the students walking to the hospital from their residence wearing their capes.

Re: John Brittingham - Hamlet

We could ride our bikes in the street with baseball cards attached to the spokes in the wheel. That was so much fun!!! I still remember all of our neighbors lived in the same houses for many man...

I spent several nights at Jenny Wright's house. There were at least 4 or 5 more of Jenny's friends there also. We actually ...

Wow! Mrs. James did not have a lazy bone in her body. What has happened to this country? History will have to repeat itself for us to learn the valuable lessons that Mrs.James knew.

I googled Bobbie Caldwell and found that a person with that name recently died in Concord NC. Think it was...

Boyd's Lake
I cannot imagine anyone swimming at Boyd's Lake at night. Every time I swam out to that diving board I felt like there were water snakes all over the place. I know they lived under that platform. Regardless of all that, I think Boyd's Lake was one of my favorite places in Hamlet. I loved that place....
